Local gonzo rock trio Mutts will celebrate the release of their upcoming CD Pray For Rain with a show at Subterranean this Thursday, Dec. 1.
Mutts will headline with support by the atmospheric Hemmingbirds, rock/prog/glam outfit Glittermouse and St. Louis indie pop group Sleepy Kitty.

Chicago pickers Henhouse Prowlers are celebrating Black Friday by teaming with Mayne Stage and the Greater Chicago Food Depository tonight for the Bluegrass Pitch-In!
Chicago Farmer will warm up the crowd for the headlining Prowlers and reps from GCFD will be on-hand to take donations (canned goods and non-perishable items) and share information about how concertgoers can help end hunger in Cook County.
This is an all-ages show with doors scheduled at 6:30 PM; tickets are $18.
Chicago gloom rockers I Lost Control will be headlining a free show at Double Door next Wednesday, Nov. 16.
L.A.'s Burial at Sea will be direct support and the night is sponsored by Budweiser (so it would be safe to assume that cheap suds will be on hand). This is a 21+ show and doors open at 8PM.
