Chicago funk crew The Heard has shared the stage with some legendary groovers over the past year--most recently they opened for Dumpstaphunk and Dragon Smoke at Metro--but the real dancers and drinkers know to catch them every Thursday night (right around 10PM) at Alive One. The band is known for packing the back room at the celebrated Lincoln Park bar, and February finds them in the company of the soulful DJRC.
