Chicago Noise Rockers Big'n to Play The Burlington in Advance of European Tour

Fans of Chicago's late 80s/early 90's post-punk/noise rock scene (The Jesus Lizard, Rapeman, Tar, etc) will remember Big'n as one of the younger bands to pound the boards at Lounge Ax, Czar Bar, Fireside Bowl and several other local indie venues. They released 45s and LPs on Skin Graft, Gasoline Boost and other like-minded labels, played Midwest shows with Zero Boys, Mule and various other heavy outfits and then...disappeared for a while.

In 2011, we reviewed Big'n's comeback EP Spare the Horses (on the French label African Tape), and now the band is back for a rare local show at The Burlington (Friday, Aug. 23) and a brief tour overseas:

Aug 26 | Reims – FR | l’éclus|
Aug 27 | Rennes – FR | Mondo Bizarro
Aug 28 | Paris – FR | Espace B
Aug 29 | Bruxelles – BE | Magasin 4
Aug 30 | Lyon – FR | Sonic
Aug 31 | Gigors – FR | Festival Gigors Electric
