Wrap up 2013 with an Americana Triple Bill at Martyrs', 12/28

If you are looking to spend the last Saturday of 2013 with a group of musicians that truly understand American roots music, both its history and contemporary permutations, then check out this terrific triple bill at Martyrs' on 12/28!

Headliners (and Lollapalooza vets) Rivals of the Peacemaker play foot-stompin' alt-county/cow-punk in the tradition of X and Los Lobos with stylistic nods to classic county and contemporary folk. Direct support comes courtesy of Falldown (pictured), which features two strong vocalists (Liza Day and Jared Rabin) alongside members of The Redwalls and Safe Haven. Opener Elisa Grace, who is finishing up a new album to be released in 2014, will be joined by Adam Levy, who has recorded with Norah Jones, Tracy Chapman and Amos Lee, among other chart-topping acts.
