6:30 - My Gold Mask - At the crossroads of underground and over the top, zoned in and plugged out, raw and riotous, lives Chicago’s My Gold Mask. The band’s exotic spells and murderous ballads have built a unique wall of sound that some have likened to a metallic symphony.
     It's been some time since My Gold Mask has come to visit Radio One Chicago.  They'll be gracing us with their presence talking about their trip to Austin for SXSW, their newest member, and where they're heading.

My Gold Mask will be playing The Hideout on May 31st.

7:30 - thePaver - thePaver formed in 2008 as a power trio. Adding a cello in 2010, their music is a carefully articulated study in aggression and consonance.

thePaver will be playing at Beat Kitchen this coming Friday, May 23rd.
