Chicago's premiere soul act, JC Brooks & the Uptown Sound, will play two shows next week in advance of the Nov. 16 release of “To Love Someone” b/w “Everything Will Be Fine” on Addenda Records.
The first show is on Thursday, Oct. 28, at Otto's in DeKalb, IL. The following night, the supremely funky Mr. Brooks and company will dig in for a show at hometown haunt The Hideout.
Both of these shows will celebrate the release of the new 7" single, which is a follow-up to the well-received "Get it Together" b/w a cover of Wilco's "I am Trying to Break Your Heart."
