Whales & Miss Chiff this Thursday, April 17th.

Whales will be coming in to the station to talk about their latest release, and their show at Township on April 25th.

6:30pm -"Miss Chiff gathers ideas, journals her innermost thoughts and then spits them into the ether. She's an aggressive, truth-telling MC and singer. Miss Chiff is sensitive, strong, and sassy (3 S's). She experiences mental and emotional turmoil quite frequently; she describes her art as: 'Calming the mental fight'. She wants to be loved. She wants to reach out to those who need to hear her words at the pivotal time. But she's not bother by any of those who dislike her and what she does. Negativity and positivity are equal motivators. Notes & Bolts, Hand Practices, and lePercolator tonight on Radio One Chicago

Tonight we will be joined by Kriss Stress founder of Notes & Bolts.  N&B will be celebrating their two year anniversary next Tuesday, April 15th at Empty Bottle.

Every week, for nearly two years, Notes & Bolts have been releasing podcast on their site.  Notes & Bolts brings you the latest bands from Chicago.

Hand Practices will be on at 6:30pm tonight to talk about their upcoming show and single release at Schuba's on Tuesday, April 16th at Township.

Finally, Chicago’s lePercolateur will be performing at Mayne Stage on Friday, April 11th.  They will be joining us tonight at 7:30pm.

Chicago band North by North. They will celebrate the release of their double album Something Wicked with a show at The Empty Bottle on Jan. 23.
